A group of German Collies, many descendants of German Import Kings Valley Covenant, all performing the “Long Down” exercise! What a wonderful, dedicated group of trainers! Here they are performing in some other amazing venues:
BJ Earning the AD (Endurance Title) on a 12 mile jog in the German Woods. The test involves the dog trotting for 4 miles at a time with 15 minute breaks and vet checks at each rest stop. Then at the end of the AD course the dog is asked to perform some basic obedience exercises to evaluate their willingness to work!
The Coach Dog test. With a beautiful team pulling the wagon.
Amazing practice session for a Medical Search & Rescue Team. A montage of photos of the team rappelling out of a helicopter!
An amazing example of “Hundesport” with a Collie performing the “man work” part of the test. An unusual role for a collie – to be sure!
I am tremendously proud of all these talented Collies! My thanks to their owners for sharing these beautiful pictures with us. – Leslie
