The test involves the dog trotting for 4 miles at a time with 15 minute breaks and vet checks at each rest stop. Then at the end of the AD course the dog is asked to perform some basic obedience exercises to evaluate their willingness to work!

An amazing example of “Hundesport” with a Collie performing the “man work” part of the test. An unusual role for a collie – to be sure!

I am tremendously proud of all these talented Collies! My thanks to their owners for sharing these beautiful pictures with us. – Leslie
